CVPA Production Agreement
For Student Cast, Crew, and Staff Support Roles
Participation in a CVPA production is both a privilege and a responsibility. All cast, crew, and staff are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, collaboration, and commitment throughout the production process.
By signing below, you agree to the following expectations:
Academic & Attendance Requirements (Students)
-
All student participants must maintain academic eligibility per CVPA and SLPS policy.
-
Students must have satisfactory attendance in all classes and must be present at school on rehearsal/performance days to participate.
-
Rehearsal attendance is critical. Once a student's rehearsal attendance falls below 85%, their role, participation, or production responsibilities may be reconsidered. This includes reassignment, reduction of stage time, or removal from the production if necessary.
Rehearsal Attendance Policy (Staff & Students)
-
All cast, crew, and staff are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals and production meetings unless otherwise excused.
-
Staff must also adhere to the attendance policy. All missed rehearsals must be communicated in writing to both the Director (Mrs. Ogundipe) and the Executive Producer (Ms. Brown) at least 24 hours in advance, except in cases of emergency.
-
Excessive or unexcused absences from staff may result in changes to their production role or level of responsibility.
Behavior & Conduct Expectations
-
All participants must demonstrate respectful, mature, and professional behavior at all times—toward staff, peers, equipment, and the rehearsal/performance space.
-
Disruptive behavior, including consistent tardiness, refusal to follow direction, or conflict with team members, may result in disciplinary action or dismissal from the production.
-
Students and staff represent CVPA and its artistic community both on and off stage. Integrity, focus, and teamwork are essential.
Commitment Agreement
By participating in this production, I understand that:
-
I am responsible for knowing the rehearsal calendar and communicating any conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
-
I must be fully prepared and focused during all rehearsals and performances.
-
I am part of a larger team, and my actions directly impact the success of the production.
